Why on earth are you willing to vote for Undecided? Show me one press conference held by Undecided in this primary run.

Just look at the stance of your candidate on some not-so-trivial issues:

On Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security ... undecided
On jobs, wage stagnation ... undecided
On gerrymandering, voter suppression, election fraud ... undecided
On foreign interference in our elections ... undecided
On selling tickets for access to high office ... undecided

Granted, it is immensely better to be undecided about these things than what we have now, but, is the *absence* of pure corruption and evil the best your candidate can do?

C'mon! I'm not bashing Undecided at all, merely pointing out that your candidate may, or may not, be failing to get the right message to voters at this time.

He has had significant drug problems and clearly he has poor judgement in relationships. This even though he had a family that would have gotten him any help he needed and he was smart enough and diligent enough to get a Yale law degree.

However, as you said, even Jimmy Carter had Billy. Both Hillary and Bill had problem brothers, the first Bush had at least 2 troubled sons, one of whom later became President.

However, everyone has pluses and minuses. It may not be fair to Biden, but in reality, his son is a liability and even before the whole Ukraine issue exploded, there were articles on how troubled Hunter is. When he made the choice to run, he knew this could be an issue. He obviously would not have known what Trump would do. The question is whether his pluses outweigh this and any other negatives.

I get that he has more foreign policy contacts, but I have been considering that any Democratic nominee would use the deep bench of Democratic foreign policy and diplomacy stars.

If I were to vote in a presidential

I think it very logical that a significant percentage of Dems remain undecided. Every day with Trump is a new crisis, a new assault on democracy. It is hardly unexpected that Dem voters want to see the candidates build their candidacies and a record that would inform us as to how well they would do against him. And that can change on a dime.

Personally, I break candidates out in tiers, but with no single front-runner.

And, yes, there are a few candidates I dislike but will still hold my nose and vote for in the GE if they're nominated.

But the main reason I remain undecided is my state doesn't hold a primary until 28 April, so no point in falling in love with someone yet who may not be on my ballot.

I've gone from Biden to Warren to Pete to Bloomberg to Pete again. This is the scariest election ever because the stakes are so high. My only real criteria is who can beat Trump and I honestly don't know at this point.

put so many more moderate Democrats off and Republicans who were going to vote for the Democrat no matter what won't vote for him.
I like Biden, but I'm worried they'll do a Hillary/Kerry job on him (Benghazi/Swift Boat) and since 50% of the country doesn't pay much attention to the truth, that will re-elect the dictator. I kind of think Bloomberg can win, but the whole thing about him getting in late and dousing his campaign in money is bothersome. I really like Pete, but worry a good chunk of the country won't vote for a gay guy. At the moment he's who I'm leaning toward voting for, but I feel pretty sure Bernie is going to win this state. This is definitely not 2008 when I was all in for Obama before he even declared.

strategically...always. If I could just install someone I would go with Pete.

But I think who can win these swing states the easiest and by the widest margin? Who can help these down ballot Dem's? What kind of candidates won in 2018...? It was mostly not the far left candidates..it was the moderates.

Do you think Bernie can win PA.??? Or Florida? I think Biden can even compete in Ohio which we've written off.

Also the deplorables in my life said long ago that they were 'afraid' of a Biden run and I've not forgotten that.
They even seem to kind of 'like' him but won't go so far as to admit that. They have little to attack him with..but they had a full arsenal going at me with the Socialist tag about Bernie (and Warren). It's hard defending Bernie when he
calls himself a Socialist. Of course I do a great job of refuting their bullshit about Bernie but why would we want to make this harder than it is already going to be?? Especially with the cheating!

In my opinion Joe Biden is the person who can most easily win so that's who I'm voting for.

I think in 30 years or so the Dem party will be much more 'progressive' because demographic changes will allow for that....but that is not today.

45. I have ruled all out but four,
Sat Feb 1, 2020, 06:32 PM
Feb 2020

The four are Biden, Warren, Klobuchar, Bloomberg. I like Biden the most, but if Warren wins the nomination over him, I won't be upset. I like Klobuchar, she is solid on policy, but I think that she may be a little dull (to many people today, that matters when it shouldn't). Bloomberg has sneaked up on me, I think that he would really take the gloves off versus Trump if he is nominated, my concern with him is as a left-center person, his policies would likely be a little too centrist for my taste.

I would vote for Biden if the primary were held in my state today, but I am still very persuadable because I like so many of our candidates.

To some, that would make me "undecided"... For me, it makes me a Biden supporter... for now.

Just because someone is undecided doesn't mean they can't have preferences to which they lean.

I was Warren and am now back in the undecided columb to see how things begin to play out since she hasn't polled well lately. So I am undecided but I still have the Warren tag as I just haven't gotten around to changing it. And I still really like her so I guess it's no big deal.

there are some I really like and some I like less. I started out supporting Kamala and still think she rocks regardless. I really love Elizabeth, Joe and Pete. Bloomberg and Yang are curiosities but not contenders in my opinion. And I'm not so interested in the rest. Not that they aren't amazing people, or that I wouldn't rally behind any one of them. All to say, Undecided does not mean opinionless or impartial. My faves earned my advocacy.
