Nancy Pelosi has a very difficult job. (Reposted here, where it belongs)

Absolutely childish BULLSHIT CRAP on the campaign trail. The purity tests. Dissing Hillary Clinton??????? She's not even running, for fuck's sake.

STOP IT

We are all DEMOCRATS. Look around and try some critical thinking. The policies of the most liberal mainstream candidate and the policies of the most moderate mainstream candidate are just not that far apart. The most liberal can only do what can get past the House and the Senate, "policy" notwithstanding. The most moderate will be pulled to the left, "policy" notwithstanding.

I mentioned Nancy Pelosi for a very specific reason. She has to herd her cats. She has to suffer chatter and noise from the left of her caucus while doing everything to electorally protect the moderates who flipped red seats and won us the House.

Yes, think back. Moderate Democrats in red districts gave us LIBERALS control of the House.

So go and FIGHT HARD for your candidate but for fuck's sakes STOP EATING YOUR OWN.

primary today, I would vote for:

They're closer in ideologies than progressives! those same counties saw as much as 8× surge in turnout. so this myth that moderates win bc they are moderates isn't totally accurate. the turnout was due to negative partisanship from a terrified electorate.

stories. Never forget the 10 for 10 rule, someone says something to 10 people as fact that might be questionable at best, and those 10 tell this same story to 10 more people. So that message is all F-ed up and a news media type will run with it just to get his or her name on a byline.

should be a landslide! There has never been a President who was disliked as much as this one is. From listening to the talking heads & interview results I've heard, the majority of Dems, at least, say "the most important thing a candidate must have is the ability to beat DT!"
