Bernie has a life-long record of being on the correct side of critical issues for our nation, and has ALWAYS stood up for what is right on issues of sexuality, color, income inequality, and social justice.

I’m a former Army Officer- retired in 2003. And at the time Bernie made these comments in the 1990’s, I myself was not enlightened enough on the struggles endured by the LGBT community.

I am now.
