Genuinely curious: What if Bernie Sanders or another Dem had endorsed George W. Bush and Pat Toomey

and so many other Republicans in critical races over the last decades that have helped get us to this horrible spot we are in as a Country. They'd be run out on a rail, right? They certainly wouldn't be allowed to post in this forum.

What is it about Mike Bloomberg that makes his long and horrid history of Republicanism acceptable? Is it just the money?

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

in 1980 when the SWP, a Trotskyite communist party, had platform that included defending the right of Iran keeping holding American hostages. And then supported the SWP again in 1984.

Yikes!

Still doesn't excuse siding with the Iranian hostage takers in concert with the Trotskyite communist Socialist Workers Party and against American citizens. Does it?

Didn't Lincoln Chafee run as a Democrat in 2016?

In his time as a Republican he probably endorsed some other leading Republicans. (Notably not Dubya, according to Wikipedia. Still. Must have been a few along the line.)

Edit to add: Bloomberg is in my bottom tier for support. I really don't want him anywhere near the nomination. But I appreciate his willingness to fund major ad buys against Trump.

Joe Biden
