The former vice president raised nearly $1 million in the fourth quarter of 2019 from more than 950 contributors who had previously given to a Democratic presidential candidate who is no longer in the race, a McClatchy analysis of new campaign finance records found.
Biden received the biggest boost from former financial backers of Kamala Harris, who dropped out of the race in early December. Nearly 400 donors to the California senators White House bid collectively poured in close to $400,000 to Bidens campaign in the final three months of last year....

(15,682 posts)It is the other spot I'd like to see her in.
VP would theoretically set her up for POTUS in 4 or 8 years. Honestly, though, I can't remember the last time a Democrat actually ran for and won the presidency after serving as VPOTUS. Even Biden wouldn't really be an example because he didn't come directly off his VP spot. She would be a great AG and, who knows, that might be a better stepping stone for her.

(43,867 posts)Support for Bernie is vastly overshadowed by support for other candidates and a drive from most of them to deny Bernie the nomination.
If they coalesce around Biden, I'm happy. Klobuchar, Warren, Mayor Pete, Bloomberg, most of the rest, I'm content.
