CNN RESULTS OF A CAUCUS, FIRST ROUND

CNN is announcing results from one caucus meeting right now.

I'm really surprised: i thought we had to wait until six or seven PM

135 people voted in this particular caucus.

Biden 33
Pete 38
Klobuchar 48
Warren 12
Sanders 1
Yang (didn't catch)

Wolf Blitzer reading the percentages this works out to.

Yang, Warren, Sanders supporters now have to realign.

Turn it on!

EDIT: Sorry for the sloppiness of this post. I was typing on the fly. It was an answer to a question on another thread that turned into something interesting and worth posting by itself.

Location: Port Charlotte Florida

Also what were Yang's numbers?

EDIT: This is a "satellite caucus"

Here: This Tweet coherently explains what I couldn't catch:

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

After that education I dislike caucuses even more. Dems need to rethink the primary calendar in our next open POTUS primary. Starting with a caucus in a state that is 90% White and given such outsized influence on the race simply isn't fair to the base of the party. It can also skew a candidate's true strength.

primary today, I would vote for:

Our Nevada caucuses results will be phoned in as they are tabulated to the satisfaction of all present. All voting is accompanied by signed paper ballots. The paper ballots delivered to the party headquarters the same day as soon as possible. Hence, the results of individual precincts can be known fairly quickly.

All math and tabulations are checked by each representative nominee person (I needed the help anyway, and it made for good feelings all around).

My caucuses explanation from another thread.

https://www.democraticunderground.com/1287468705#post15

Since I am new, maybe someone could post this subject as it's own thread. I learned a lot in my training. Had trouble using the phone app Saturday trying to log on to that day's training. My good friend, also a volunteer, she gave up because it was so complicated.

"Visitors" are allowed in each caucus location, they just can't participate or allowed to interfere. That includes cameras/TV, print and radio, as well as those that voted in early voting. They must stay in a separate area that is reserved for them as needed, space depending (last time our classroom location was very crowded with just the people allowed to vote).

3 people have chosen not to stay for the second alignment.

Location is something Charlotte.

CNN has a "counter" in the room.

One of the anchors said "Klobuchar picked up a few more" but I'm not sure if she was referring to the results of the second alignment or just generally talking about how well she did on the first round.

Sorry, I've lost the plot. Unsure if the second alignment occurred or is ongoing.

btw - Amy is way in the lead. Bernie has no votes.

Florida doesn't vote until March and it is a primary (not caucus) state.

Update: This is a satellite caucus for Iowans living (wintering) in Florida.

Arizona.

My first thought when I figured out what was going on in Florida was "Why not in Arizona ?"

I am from the lower mid-west and people stopped wintering in Florida in the 90s and started going to Arizona. One of the reasons was that it was way more interesting because of the number of snowbirds from Canada.

Another winter destination is The Rio Grande Valley - Texas. Wonder if they are having a caucus there.
