BREAKING:Report from the Iowa Democratic Party...

"We have found inconsistencies in the reporting of three sets of results in addition to the text systems being used to tabulate results, we are also using photos of results and a paper trail to validate that all results match and ensure that we have confidence and accuracy in the number we report. This is simple a reporting issue. The app did not go down and this is not a hack or an intrusion. The underlying data is sound and will simply take time to further report the results."

The bad news is why the hell did the IDP not have double or triple redundancies in place or, at the very least, announce that it "will simply take time to further report the results."

While it's good news it's apparently not a hack, it's bad news as to the organization of our party.

Ds: please learn a lesson from this going forward through the primaries, the general election, and forever. We don't look very good right now.

And b/t/w: get rid of caucuses. They are unnecessarily complicated. And also, please change the order of the states during primaries! Just because it was done decades ago does not mean it's the right thing now and going forward.
