Somebody's moment has been stolen.

Regardless of who won, they deserved better.

These candidates and their teams spent years preparing for this night, and clearly the IDP did not.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

1. I agree. No matter who we support or hoped would win, a lot of effort went into these campaigns.

In the past I have sometimes defended their "first state" status, but there's no defending this result--
or rather lack therof...

Since there are more than 2 viable candidates, I guess we can't flip a coin this time...

It is a state grossly non-representative of the party or the nation.

Ricky Santorum is defending Iowa and the caucus system right now on CNN, so, there ya go.

5. I can't believe Santorum is defending Iowa caucuses after they screwed him over in 2012. n/t

Sanitarium looks very satisfied with the apparent chaos and buffoonery on exhibit by the Iowa Democratic Party tonight.

Nobody should be paying attention to a podunk state with a handful of delegates, an all-white population, and a whackadoodle selection system anyway, and perhaps now they’ll ignore it as they logically should.

The only people who won tonight are Republicans. The candidates put in a lot of time and money and it feels wasted now. I especially feel bad for Liz Warren, who really did work Iowa so hard, and now even if she wins won't get the boost she deserves.
