Seriously how hard is it? There's two steps.

1. Go stand over there

2. Count how many people are standing over there

Why does this need an app? Both of these are solved problems. Hell, the bugs only got noticed so early precisely because we're dealing with small numbers humans can easily eyeball. Which in itself scares the bejesus out of me.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

2. There are only like 50 people in Iowa to start with! And how many left the farm to go caucus?

What a stupid system!! Stand around in a gym and pressure others to join your group??? First alignment?? Second alignment??

Go freakin cast a damn ballot!!!

And then count all 50 of them for the whole damn state.

3. On MSNBC, Katy Tur talked about how they were trying to get the Caucus voters . . .

to sit clustered in each row of a section. In this way, it was claimed the count could be made quickly and with greater accuracy, since all they'd have to do is count complete rows, then multiply by the number of seats in a row.

Seems straightforward enough.

Then Tur noticed there were children in the mix, and casually commented how this would make it harder to weed out the children from the Caucus voters when everyone was in such a tightly packed group.

So yeah, still don't understand the need for an app. But then, this appears to be people intent on making this whole process seemingly as complicated as possible. Which in a sense now explains the need for the app.

...setups and open networks. Get too many people in one place and you’re going to have problems. Otherwise the app design shouldn’t be hard here:

- Screen one: Choose an alignment to report
- Screen two: enter counts
- Hit submit.

This should be small amounts of text they’re dealing with...
