I have very, very...very strong feelings about who is best and worstt equipped to beat Chump but I'm doing my best to keep them to myself for a host of reasons. I'm tired of internet battles, the battles change no minds, and 2016 has made me question my own powers of divination.

I do know with certainty this a consequential election.

A 4th in NH would put a real dent in his electability argument.

Biden supporters are hanging on SC, and the AA vote in Super Tuesday. HRC racked up 88% of the AA vote according to exit polls. Biden is getting about 45%. Won't be enough.

Neither Biden nor Sanders should of run. Their time has come and gone. There has not been one Democratic president who failed to win the nomination first time around. Democrats are in love with the new and the future, not rear view mirrors.

33. 'In January 2015, Obama was already trying to dissuade Biden'
Tue Feb 4, 2020, 11:13 AM
Feb 2020

“He had been subtly weighing in against — for a variety of reasons” Biden wrote. ...

“The president was convinced I could not beat Hillary, and he worried that a long primary fight would split the party and leave the Democratic nominee vulnerable in the general election,” Biden wrote. Obama also believed Clinton had the better chance of defeating a Republican opponent in the battle for the presidency. ...

Soon it dawned on Biden that Obama had made up his mind: “I found myself saying, ‘Look, Mr. President, I understand if you’ve made an explicit commitment to Hillary and to Bill Clinton.’?” ...

Biden stood in the Rose Garden with his wife, Jill, on one side and Obama on the other to announce his decision. ...

Biden didn’t want to be making this announcement. He wanted to run; he wanted more than anything in the world to be president. His son Beau had been sensitive to his father’s ambitions and had believed in him as the candidate with the right values for the country. “You’ve got to run,” he told his father a few years earlier. “I want you to run.” Later, as he struggled with cancer, Beau “tried to make his father promise to run,” according to Maureen Dowd of the New York Times.

But without Obama’s blessing, Biden stayed on the sidelines.

But it shows he has real problems with certain age groups he has to have to be successful. He'll keep falling in the polls as his opponents rise. I just am not thrilled about him, and his mistakes show he's very venerable, with his policies he proposes.Too many people not wanting him in office unless he wins the primaries indicates he's not what we need. Any Democrat running for the presidency will win , but Biden isn't my first or second or third choice.
