Biden's rivals in Iowa are starting to release their own caucus results showing him in 'distant 4th

The campaigns of Sens. Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, and Amy Klobuchar all indicated Tuesday that their internal campaign data show former Vice President Joe Biden finished fourth in Monday night's Iowa caucus.

The Daily Beast reported that Warren's campaign went further and said he finished in a "distant" fourth place, claiming its internal data showed a three-way race between herself, former South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg, and Sanders.

"It's a mess," Warren campaign manager Roger Lau told reporters, according to Politico. "I think that every single second that passes where we don't get a final result is concerning."

Anecdotal evidence from multiple sources should him nonviable in many precincts, and now that's being backed up by internal data from several campaigns. Even Elizabeth Warren alluded to a three-way race while campaigning in New Hampshire today.

....we've heard about from the Sanders campaign, regardless of the results this is a hugely disappointing caucus for Sanders, the lowest turnout since 2000 in a contested caucus.

2004 - 45%
2008 - 57%
2012 - uncontested
2016 - 44%
2020 - 35%

I'm sorry Biden didn't get as much support as he and his supporters would have liked.

Maybe not too far fetched to say Biden might not have done so hot. But yeah, with no actual data, we can say Beyonce won and it would believable....

Had the results came out last night, Joe could have said, “well we learned a lot and we are going to implement some changes to make us more competitive in upcoming states.” And it would have gotten some attention, but now everyone will be paying attention and ultimately will make iowa’s Results look huge compared to just a being first state.

Iowa is over. It fizzled away it's impact. Everyone has moved on to the next shiny thing.

More competitive in upcoming states? Outside wee NH Joe is leading in the next states. Ahead in both Nevada and South Carolina.

Feel that.
