Democratic Primaries
Related: About this forum
Congratulations to our presumptive Democratic nominee, Joe Biden!
IA needs to release all the results at once.
Releasing incomplete caucus results is like releasing incomplete poll results. My first question is what precincts are included and what precincts are excluded.
If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden

Why? Primary results are reported as they are tabulated, not after all results are in nt

(3,649 posts)1. I agree with that.
If the race is as tight as estimates are making it out to be, releasing incomplete results may make it seem like a candidate won when in fact they did not once the rest of the precincts are included. This whole thing has been a giant mess.

The damage is done, don't compound it. Wait until you have a high confidence in the overall numbers.

(314 posts)3. Insanely stupid move.
Moves Iowa from bad to worse.
Put out the numbers in full when they are confirmed.
