I posted a tweet somewhere on this thread where someone noted how 1 county in Texas negates all of Iowa and NH. People in larger states like me (FL) laugh at wee Iowa and NH and their bloated sense of importance. The difference in Iowa between first and fourth is less than 5 delegates, out of the roughly 1900 needed for nomination. Biden is way ahead in 3 out 4 of the biggest states. Spin that. Iowa is over (thank God). Their impact fizzled. Time to go on. All the way to the convention.

BTW..it's fun to go back and read the stuff that was said when Santorum, Huckabee, and Ted Cruz all won Iowa for the GOP. The spin didn't help them.

I like Joe. I probably would have voted for him if he'd ran last cycle.

I don't think he's got 8 years of presidential acuity left in him, or 8 months even.

I'm not strongly affiliated either, several better candidates IMO.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

With the narrative being all about the shitshow and about how the process can't be trusted, why draw attention to your poor showing?

Of course, there are reasons why Biden's previous attempts to get nominated ended so quickly. He's always been bad at this. Obama's coattails can only do so much.

Tue Feb 4, 2020, 02:51 PM

Rather than just reporting 50% of the results? If this story is true, it seems reasonable that IDP Should wait until they are able release 100% of the data.

On Edit, per post below, the story is false.

sore loser. Yet he is widely respected by supporters and competitors alike, has never earned a bitter, divisive, sore loser reputation by word or deed over a lifetime career!

I suppose if Biden can’t be preemptively buried by the yet-to-be-released results, the next best thing is to jump on rumors.

Iowa’s process earns the bad optics. All candidates should be critical of it.
