Related: About this forumButtigieg with a narrow lead in Iowa with 62% of results in.
Pete Buttigiegs campaign is cautiously optimistic after the first tranche of results find the former South Bend Mayor with a narrow lead with 62% of results in.
We feel good, said a senior Buttigieg aide. Were confident our data will continue to show were competitive to win.
Buttigieg aides in Iowa spent the night crunching internal data they received from their precinct captains across Iowa. It is that data that motivated them to claim victory before any results were in.

(6,214 posts)13. In 2016 there were 2 running, in 2020 there are dozen running
and Sanders shares lot of agenda with Warren, so they divide the total progressive votes.
A better comparison with 2016 would be (Snaders+Warren) Vs (Biden+Buttigieg+Kobuchar).

62% leaves room for rankings to change. Also be sure youre looking at final results not first results. Both are being reported.
