I think if Pete wins Iowa

That the Democratic electorate wants someone new and Biden and Sanders reminds them of the same old, same old. Just my thoughts on things.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

but Iowa doesn't mean anything. It's a small, rural, white state that has a caucus system that prevents a whole lot of people from participating, so the results can't be extrapolated to anywhere else. It's an outlier and doesn't deserve the weight it gets from the media.

Convention. Sad to say,the Guy who is leading thus far in Iowa, will not be the Person leading the Dem Ticket. The Deep pockets will have their way.

The first two states in the primary contest are heavily majority white. The backbone of the party is largely made up of African Americans. Basically, we are saying let the white people decide what's best, you black guys should just vote for whomever we choose (for the record, I am white)

Pete is doing well in Iowa because he is a midwesterner and appeals to most age demographics, unlike Bernie Sanders who is horrible amongst older people and supported enthusiastically by young people and Joe Biden who has the opposite problem.

This is who won the Iowa Caucuses
2008: Huckabee
2012: Santorum

We have 15 candidates or something like that.....(depending on the state). When you have alot of candidates, it makes it more difficult to read the tea leaves.

Did you know that the DMR had to scrap their last poll before the caucus because they messed up and didn't read all the names of the candidates? (Someone had enlarged their screen and didn't see all the candidates names, so the poll was invalid)
