To those who think Pete's Campaign was involved with Shadow Inc.

To those who think Pete’s Campaign was involved with Shadow Inc, the company that created the vote reporting app; they were.

They paid $42,500 to them in July for Text Messaging software. But here’s the rub. They weren’t the only ones.

“Buttigieg’s campaign paid $42,500 to Shadow Inc. for text messaging software in July. Other Democrats, including former Vice President Joe Biden, Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand and the Texas Democratic Party, have contracted with Shadow for similar services, federal campaign finance data show.

The Buttigieg campaign did not help develop the app used in Iowa, a campaign spokesman confirmed Tuesday to the AP.”

of claiming it was something other than it was. Maybe not so many people here on DU, but on the seedier parts of the interwebs it will live on.

just the name of the software company “Shadow” gave me the willies. I would not be surprised if we didn’t find something nefarious behind the scenes here. They took money from Dems and caused all kinds of problems.

According to what I dug up, Shadow Inc. was co-founded by Gerard Niemira and Krista Davis. They were part of Hillary’s tech team during the 2016 campaign. Still an odd name though.

My work day was nuts and I didn’t have a moment to do it myself. We should keep an eye on this Shadow group regardless.
