Democratic presidential hopeful Michael Bloomberg on Wednesday launched a new ad touting his ties to former President Obama, highlighting their work together in communities across the country.
The ad opens with clips of Obama introducing Bloomberg at an event in 2013, and goes on to list Bloomberg's work with the former president on gun safety and education.
The former New York City Mayor endorsed Obama's 2012 reelection bid, citing his stance on climate change. The two leaders also worked on gun control reform in 2013 following the Sandyhook shooting that left 26 people dead.

(4,950 posts)And keep in mind, no program to reduce the deficit makes any sense whatsoever unless you address the issue of entitlements, Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, interest payment on the debt, which you can't touch, and defense spending. Everything else is tiny compared to that.
Or his support of raising retirement age to 69 or his endorsement of the Simpson Bowles cat food policy.

(1,773 posts)I take Steve Austin's ties to Bigfoot more seriously than I take Bloomberg's ties to Obama. Both are fictional, but only one is entertaining fiction.
