Biden calls nominating Buttigieg "a risk"

Ok, I think all candidates have to STOP labeling other Democratic candidates "a risk".

That's handing talking points and video clips to the Republicans.

Joe should know better.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Biden has been so disrespectful to other views, and that attitude has carried over to his supporters. It's been a circular firing squad shitstorm here on DU.

It's sad, because I came in thinking I was going to vote for Biden. The utter disrespect for the Sanders supporters that I have seen on this board and the way Biden treated that environmentalist in Iowa have led me to believe his people have utter contempt for the left of the party.

So for now, I am declaring for Buttigieg.

but it has frequently been a factor. It takes more effort to help voters register and the outreach has to be extensive.

Waukesha is actually a bit less Republican than it was, or at least the margin is smaller. There's a growing number of Hispanic-Latino voters in the county too.

The eligible black voters in Wisconsin are younger and more disenfranchised compared to many other states. The candidate pitch has to match up better with conditions, IMO.

But, thankfully, we have Bernie, who is the least risky candidate to take on the Corporate Socialist agenda of tRumpists who have shitted on the working class and poor folks in this country for long enough!!

We're not taking their crap anymore and the fuckin' crumbs they throw us! If we do, that's what's truly risky... people's very lives are at stake!! It's time to revolt and join Bernie in the fight against Corporate Socialism!!

Calling a candidate a risk at this point speaks more about Biden than Pete.

https://news.gallup.com/poll/254120/less-half-vote-socialist-president.aspx

With a wide range of ages in the current field of candidates for president, Gallup finds that most Americans are willing to vote for a candidate over the age of 70 (63%), and an even larger majority would vote for a candidate under the age of 40 (71%).

...snip...

As openly gay South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg's campaign for president has generated buzz in the Democratic nomination race, 76% of Americans report a willingness to vote for a gay or lesbian candidate -- a new high in Gallup's trend.

I really liked Biden's speech on the night of the Primary, but I logged into here and all Biden supporters were just bashing Bernie. Then I remembered how he treated that women in Iowa who questioned his support about supporting oil pipelines. He flat out said go vote for someone else. Who knows, maybe she was a Green that was on the fence. Now we may have lost her vote (and the votes down ticket she would have brought).

I consider myself to be from the Bernie wing, but I am willing to go more moderate if I like the vibe of a candidate. But when you are disrespecting people in our own party like the Biden folks are, like Biden said, I WILL go vote for someone else. I came into this Primary originally supporting Sherrod Brown. Then I was kind of on the fence between Biden and Booker. But Biden and Bloomberg people have really left a rotten taste in my mouth. I do wonder if there are Russian trolls trying to turn people against Biden and Bloomberg, but most of the people that are trolling Bernie supporters are long time DU'rs. If they are not Russian trolls, they are doing a great job undermining Biden with a segment of the party.

And as much as I would LOOOOVE for Warren to win, I feel like as a country we aren't ready for a woman president. And when I say "we" I don't mean me, obviously. I mean there's an alarming number of people out there that are knuckle draggers. Since electing orange f*ckface, racists have become brazen and things I just would have never thought would come from people I KNOW IRL have been posted. I have had to clean house multiple times on my various social media platforms. It has been shocking and exhausting. So, yeaaa. I agree w Joe.
