1. Under 80,000 votes in three states decided the last election.

Don't even get me started on Nader in 2000 or Stein. Write-ins could do that. Twitter, Facebook? He doesn't even have to run. Just my two cents.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

3. Agree, he should not run, he should just campaign against him

By now Romney knows he is being thrown under the bus, he actually knew it before he cast his vote, so the right thing for him is to fight back and to fight for getting the con out of office, it would validate his vote to impeach him.

I hope Romney does not persist to bend his principles for acceptance in the republican party, no matter how to the right he may be, he has shown he has principles and that he will act accordingly and he knows the republican party not only does nor have principles, but lacks dignity and any good attribute required to lead a nation. He will do well to become an independent, and help get the con and those who are now against him, like McConnell out of office...FIGHT BACK Mitt!

I was impressed by his speech, I would never vote for him, but nonetheless it was fantastic to see someone with principles act.

in three states. If every DUer tries to convince at least one Republican to write in Mitt it couldn't hurt.

5. No, but if he run he could take votes away from the Democratic candidate

As I said above, he should campaign against the con, and declare that he is not going to vote for him, that should bring some of his fans away from the creature and take votes away from the republican party.

I still think the Democratic party needs to do something grandiose to avoid the cheating that is coming, we are not only fighting against the cheating republican party, but we have Russia as well, it is a major task but Democrats need to be a few steps ahead to make sure it is discovered in time, and prevented. I am one of those who thinks the con did not even win in the EC states, I believe they hacked the machines and did some other things to rob the votes, he is as illegitimate as it comes.

for the Democratic candidate as far as the outcome is concerned. See the reverse effect in prior elections, e.g. Nader, Stein.
