Learn from our struggles.. don't stick your heads in the sand!!

The Iowa caucus recount has been a nightmare.. It should never have taken this long.. but much better long and verified than always questioning the results.

No one may like the caucus or want it out,, but you could literally watch us voting, standing in our groups.. and then in the middle of it we did a primary by doing a ballot and a second choice.

And yet here we are. We had poll after poll telling us who was ahead and who was not. I have talked to people all around us who did not come to caucus because they thought Joe was ahead and did not want to go out.. That is why I hate polls it has its own way of suppressing votes.. but it is, what it is, and we have to live with it.

Keep an eye open on your primary and caucuses as they come up.. have everything on high alert. If you have an open primary I do not know how you protect it.. My heart goes out to you.. it really does.

Protect our candidates, even if you do not support them..

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

I absolutely agree with that sentiment.

I am convinced that the world would be a better place had we followed this sound advice and waited for an actual and verified count of the votes in the 2000 election in Florida. Patience is a virtue for a good reason.

Have been playing in our politics for election after election.. doing things and then laughing their heads off.. and 2000 comes to mind first thing. I am not the biggest fan of the caucus and would much rather have a closed primary.. but it is what it is and I have to live with it. you can view us doing it, count our heads in the corners for yourself..and we are redoing paper ballots,..but that was not even necessary because we always had a paper trail of who was in the caucus (its locked after 7 PM) names addresses etc.

This is going to be a war, and I hope we are all ready for it. I think we are, I hope we are!!

I mean I am reading things here in DU that have just floored me.. from Trumpists jamming the Democratic Lines to keep the votes from being tallied..

People can hate Iowa, that is their right.. but for the love of God, I hope they look at us and take a lesson... it would be worth the mess if they did.. well worth it
