Time for some introspective thinking

Ladies and Gentlemen,

It’s time for some introspective thinking. Every one of the top tier candidates coming out of Iowa has liabilities that will be exploited by the slime machine that is the impeached shitbag. The only candidate who can muzzle the obese colon bag is Bloomberg and he is doing it now.

Time to realign priorities because we get nothing without capturing the presidency and the Senate.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Bernie has credibility in the midwest where he won Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, and Indiana in 2016. People know he's honest. He's also galvanizing the Latino community, which gives us a real shot in Texas and Arizona. It may turn out that African Americans start backing him in larger numbers as well now that Biden's campaign is faltering. If that happens, Georgia is in play. There's a lot to like about a Bernie candidacy in the GE.

My goal is to get Democrats elected so we can implement lasting change.

Bloomberg’s goal is just to beat Trump. We need more than that.

We need state legislature majorities for upcoming redistricting.
We need to solidify our House majority.
We need to take the Senate.
Then, we need to defeat Trump. If we get the above three, Trump and the Republicans would be effectively neutered. And if we get those, we are going to win the White House anyway.

How are the gung-ho supporters of certain candidates going to be able to swallow their pride, anger, and disappointment and find things to latch onto that they can get excited about that will help them activate others?
Because there are going to be a LOT of angry and disappointed people when this process is over. It's going to be someone that someone else here loathes.

Thu Feb 6, 2020, 01:32 PM
Feb 2020

Because that's what led to President Donald Trump.

People aren't looking for the same old thing, that's why Trump won. He tapped into the dissatisfaction Americans had with both parties establishment and the interests they serve.

The whole political landscape changed with GWB really, Iraq and TARP. Obama was a great moderate president but he never satisfied the insurgent impulse that's been building in American politics for decades.

Bloomberg would lose.

You want to beat trump it's going to take courage, the courage to reach for something better and the courage to do some genuine introspection about the failures that made Trump possible.
