Morning Consult polled Dems' feelings about 2020 after Iowa: Worried 65%. Confident 40%. Happy 34%.

In contrast to Republicans, whose response to the Iowa results was only 33% Worried, 69% Confident, and 61% Happy.

When 66% of Dems are unhappy with the Iowa results, that shows a lot of dissatisfaction with the front-runners in Iowa.

Which is reflected in only 40% of Dems behind confident about the GE after Iowa.

But any Democrat is better than Trump.

And I think I can confidently assure potential voters worried about Sanders being too far left that Congress, even if Democrats control both houses (which I think would be less likely to happen if Sanders is the nominee), would keep Sanders from getting too-extreme proposals through Congress. So we'd be much more likely to get the public option the less leftwing candidates campaigned on than MFA.

And you're going to have a lot more Democrats disappointed that Sanders is our nominee after the GOP starts taking him apart.

A lot of Democrats, including a lot of Sanders supporters, know very little about his background.

By the way. I know a lot about Bernie's background, so do most of his supporters. But like other supporters of other candidates, the background of their choice won't matter to them. And Bernie's wont matter to us. It's to be expected when a candidate has been in office or the public eye a long time.

Trump was Biden. Yet they actually voted for the two candidates polling low in that question. I wonder if our goal is to really get rid of Trump

I can't wait for more diverse states to vote - ones with people who don't have the luxury to take chances and have the most to lose, if Trump is reelected.
