Notice that the survey was conducted over three days (Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday). The authors tell us, "The majority of the movement for Buttigieg and Biden came in surveys conducted Wednesday, as the picture became clearer about who won Iowa’s caucuses after a failure in the Iowa Democratic Party’s caucus-night reporting system Monday." In other words, the post-caucus bump for Sanders and Buttigieg is likely greater than the bump reflected in this poll.
