(7,866 posts)Just like a close finish in Iowa and a resounding win in New Hampshire didn't matter for him in 2016, even though I imagine any potential New Hampshire win this time around will be much closer than last time, which is all the worse for him.

(19,201 posts)If your neighbors won't stick up for you you're not worth much. New Hampshire has been a foregone conclusion for quite some time. What happens after Iowa and New Hampshire will tell where Sanders really stands, and the facade he's built in those two states will start to crumble, IMO.

(19,201 posts)Where your enemy gets to "help" Democrats choose their opponent? Of course we can expect "unaffiliated" voters to choose the toughest opponent to face their fascist leader, right?
Here are the "rules" for New Hampshire's open primary:
Details of voting in congressional and state primary elections:
Voters must affiliate with a party to participate in that party's primary.
An unaffiliated voter may choose one party's ballot, which makes them a registered member of that party. However, temporary affiliation is possible, as voters can fill out a card at the polling place to return to undeclared status after the vote is cast. For this reason, New Hampshire allows same day registration for unaffiliated voters.
There's little room for any hanky-panky to go on there, right?

(12,265 posts)Once the primaries get to a more diverse area like South Carolina we will see who has a chance to win a national election. Super Tuesday is going to be really interesting this time around. The front runner coming out of NH won't matter. This is a totally different type of election this year.
