WOW - NYT says Biden pres nomination bid "is in major trouble" yikes!

https://www.nytimes.com/2020/02/07/us/politics/joe-biden-anita-dunn.html

MANCHESTER, N.H. — Former Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. is shaking up his campaign leadership just days ahead of the New Hampshire primary, an acknowledgment that his bid for the Democratic presidential nomination is in major trouble after a disastrous fourth-place finish in the Iowa caucuses.

Mr. Biden is giving effective control of the campaign to Anita Dunn, a veteran Democratic operative and top adviser to him.

“She will be working closely with us on campaign strategy and overall coordination on budget and personnel as we build a bigger campaign for the next phase,” according to a campaign email obtained by The New York Times.

But two senior Biden officials said Ms. Dunn is doing more than that — and that she will have final decision-making authority, a decision that came at the behest of the former vice-president. ...

1. To have two lillly white rural, older states determine a national candidate is beyond stupid.

We lost some great candidates because of the amount of money they had to spend to win little old Iowa. Now they spent all that money and the state party could not even get it right.

I hope all of them stay in until Super Tuesday. I don't want the NYT determining our candidate.

I'm glad they're finally recognizing the need to change staff around. Anita Dunn is no slouch, that's for sure!

they never expected to do well in Iowa. I think they're banking on more diverse states, as long as they don't run out of money.

The press plays their games. They want drama. They want to extinguish a torch. It's like a white state tradition. Someone has to quit after Iowa.
