Iowa Democratic Party chair calls for independent investigation of caucus problems

The Hill

The chair of the Iowa Democratic Party (IDP) called for an independent investigation into the problems that caused mayhem and delayed Monday night’s caucus results in the Hawkeye State.

“With reports from 100% of the precincts in, we are taking steps to ensure the accuracy of the results. An independent investigation of what happened is necessary once we finalize the results,” tweeted Troy Price, the state party chair. “@iowademocrats are committed to earning your trust and electing Democrats in Nov.”

The tweet comes as Iowa Democrats scramble to finalize the tallies from the caucuses after reporting inconsistencies fueled questions from several campaigns and observers over the validity of the results.

of Republican Steve Kornacki gloating over his Iowa stats with commentary? When I log out of this site, I will go through a few books that await my selection.

I'm going from roaring comedy induced laughing to groans and mumbling into angry and finally a big sigh and off to my list of better things to do.

Thanks for the update, I appreciate it as always.
