Here's my idea about the relatively low turnout in Iowa. Do you agree?

I think it's because we have so many good candidates. People are waiting for someone to be picked and then the beat Trump passion will show. But, until then, if you would be happy with any one of 4 or 5 candidates, you might just stay home and wait for others to show who will rise to the top.

What do you think?

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

1. Definitely contributes, people still undecided don't bother to caucus.

A lot of people just want to beat Trump, and don't care who does it.

primary today, I would vote for:

...people answer when his name comes up on their phone...was making calls to get out the caucus.

He got a lot of responses that "I don't know who I want and I don't want an "undecided" group, so I'm staying home".

Anecdotal yes, but it was the case in our smallish town.

primary today, I would vote for:
Undecided

I don't necessarily agree that all of the candidates are great but I think the majority of Democrats and left-leaners recognize the existential crisis we are in and are ready to support whoever makes it through the primary process.

7. Early voting in Tennessee starts next week. I have to admit

My views have changed since last week and I could change my mind again. A lot of my female democratic friends who meet bi-monthly for lunch feel the same way. I have gone from Biden to Pete to Bloomberg. I think most people want Trump out of office so badly they are afraid to waste their votes.

primary today, I would vote for:

9. Caucuses take away anonymity and require a good deal of time.

The also discriminate against elderly, disabled, night shift workers and parents. Not a good mix.

12. Agree. It's way easier to have a strong opinion in a two-way race.

If there's 3+ people you like and maybe you're not a huge political junkie maybe you let people with more knowledge or stronger opinions decide.

I sort of thought that was obvious honestly.

primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
