Tonight was Biden's strongest debate so far.

I hope it changes the trajectory of things. Biden gave the some of the most sincere answers tonight. I think Amy won overall and Mayor Pete held his own. Ultimately, I'm not sure if there was a game-changer tonight, tho.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

There have been a few debates now where Klobuchar seemed to do best. But it still didn't get her into the top tier.

OTOH, I hope Biden's strong performance tonight will help him.

Not sure it will help with the NH primary, though -- any more than Klobuchar's performance will help her -- if more moderate Dems decide to vote for Buttigieg just because he seems to have the best chance of denying Sanders a victory in NH.

that would help a great deal. I think he can last a long time, as long as he doesn't run out of funds.

So many people were raving about Klobuchar, who did a wonderful job, but overlooked Joe, who came across as very knowledgeable and presidential.

being accused of having "no friends in Congress" Joe Biden leaned over and put an arm on Bernie's shoulder. It was just a little gesture, but it showed a quality of empathy Biden has in spades. That's a decent human being. That's the kind of character we need again in the White House.

Although I think Klobuchar was so much better than everyone else it might not matter. Warren also had good moments and I'm surprised to see so many people thinking the mayor had a good night when his answer re: race was so terrible. It probably won't hurt him in NH though.
