Pete's strongest attack against Bernie

Is when he says about Bernie not expanding his coalition beyond angry college liberals. We should be trying to add voters and not subtract. I see that attitude with Sanders supporters taking an elitist stance if you’re not 100% in what I’m for you must be corrupt or in the pocket of billionaires. This kind of attitude is not going to help us beat Trump in November.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

because I had surgery earlier this week. But if I had a drink for every time Bernie said the word “billionaire” in that debate (or any of the others) they’d have to send me back for a liver transplant.

All issues apparently solved by eliminating billionaires. Tell that to Trayvon Martin’s family.

I think it’s one of his main strengths. He’s not just adopting battle cries and repeating them. He puts it in his own words so that you can tell he has a good knowledge of the subject. Plus he seems to be driven to public service for the right reasons.

This purity thing is stupid, shortsighted, and the fastest way to get another four years of Trump. It's just ridiculous. And you're right about the false dichotomies his folks are pushing - you're either 100% behind him or you're corrupt and only care about billionaires. That's ridiculous. Every time he goes after Pete I like him less and like Pete more.

Bernie also won the lower income brackets. Pete’s second place finish in Iowa was based on doing well with wealthy white voters.
