Amy's debate performance was a Steinbeck "Grapes of Wrath" moment for me

Her "I know you" finale reminded me so much of the great lines of Tom Joad:

""I'll be all around in the dark. I'll be everywhere. Wherever you can look—wherever there's a fight so hungry people can eat, I'll be there. Wherever there's a cop beatin' up a guy, I'll be there. I'll be in the way guys yell when they're mad. I'll be in the way kids laugh when they're hungry and they know supper's ready, and when the people are eatin' the stuff they raise and livin' in the houses they build, I'll be there, too."

First time I ever recall a debate performance that I thought was truly inspirational. Yes, I am for Biden, mainly for practical reasons, but if Amy finally catches on then my vote on Super Tuesday could easily change to Amy.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

I remember those lines well. She gave a great performance and deserves all the accolades she is receiving. She's been my number two for awhile now, but as long as he is in the race, my heart belongs to Biden.

I was very impressed by her and if things don’t go well for Biden, find myself taking a good hard look at Amy Klobuchar.

I also think she would be an outstanding VP candidate.

but to me it smacked of a desperate appeal. Kind of a hail mary pass... which granted sometimes score you a touchdown. I think she really needed to make a mark and did her best to lay everything on the table. It seemed kinda scripted to tug at our heartstrings... which, to me diminishes her authenticity.

BTW, somebody has to tell Elizabeth Warren not to say "look" before giving every answer. It is starting to grate on me.

I would definitely vote for Amy. She stood alone as the candidate.who spoke as a President should speak. The anecdote about an FDR supporter was perfect for her to address how she would empathize with all Americans. "I see you."

Her "I know you speech" was not only touching but it was very genuine. It capped off a very good debate performance. I thought her wit and pragmatism came across very well. In some ways she was the only candidate to be able to answer questions consistently with a personality. I also thought that Trump would have trouble with her.

If my state's primary was tomorrow I would vote for Amy.

I've always felt like New Hampshire was the start of the primaries. No one understands the Iowa caucuses so I've never paid them that much attention.

In general I was underwhelmed by the debate--with the exception of Amy.

I was planning on voting for Biden. But if my state's primary was this week, I might just vote for her.
