So it is glaringly obvious that executive experience does not determine who will be a good president.

and Foreign Relations Committee, he had a lot of responsibility as vice president. Few people realize how much he was in charge of during the Obama administration and that certainly involved a lot of decision making. Few U.S. politicians have met with more foreign leaders than Joe Biden. He is known and respected all over the world.

Then served as a County Councilman before serving six terms as a Senator where presumedly he made a decision or two--not to mention while Chairman of Senate Judiciary as well as during two terms as VP. Do you really think he lacks any experience with executive decision making? Really?

Look, I'm undecided, but this kind of question re: Biden just drips with condescension for no apparent reason.

How much did President Obama have before he became president? He worked out just fine. Bush had executive experience as the governor of Texas and we all know what a mess he turned out to be. This is one of the cheaper shots I've seen around here.

Reviving the VAWA, and was Obama’s chief FP advisor, hired as same. Yes, he negotiated with Congress for and under Obama, so deals made were with Obama’s initiation and approval.

Biden went eight times to Iraq. The plan he suggested was, unfortunately, not implemented. That had nothing to do with Obama.

Moreso than any Veep before him. There is so much work for the presidency now that Obama wisely offloaded a good portion of the executive decision making to Biden.

That's the biggest reason I back Biden.

Nothing prepares someone for becoming President. Being VP is about the closest you can get to that job, really.

Probably, of all the current candidates, Bloomberg comes closest to having relevant executive experience, really.

The Veep is part of the Executive Branch. If you want to insist it does not carry responsibility for decisions (other than breaking tie votes in the Senate) it is an office not entrusted to one not though capable of the Presidency (the purpose of the VP's existence is to have someone to step in if something happens to the President) or you could say he had an 8-year apprenticeship.

I don't think this one will hold. Better of sticking to the gaffes.
