I'm posting here 'cuz it is about Dem Primaries

Marcus H. Johnson (@marcushjohnson) Tweeted:
Iowa and NH’s days on top are numbered.

“But the highest-ranking African American lawmaker in the House said during an interview with C-SPAN’s “Newsmakers” that Iowa shouldn’t play such an outsize role as an early vote state...” https://t.co/PMCzPK2SrQ

I have not seen the Cspan video

And Tom Perez is on short time.

primary today, I would vote for:

the DNC CEO is Seema Nanda.
She isn't going to ignore very unhappy high level Dems in Congress.

snip--"In 1972, Iowa was the first state to hold its Democratic caucus, and it had the first Republican caucus four years later.[9]

Under Iowa law, political parties are required to hold caucuses every two years to select delegates to county conventions and party committees.[2]

this on the DNC?

The STATE parties run the caucuses and primaries.

Eta: role of the DNC in the primaries: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democratic_National_Committee#Campaign_role

"The DNC establishes rules for the caucuses and primaries which choose delegates to the Democratic National Convention, but the caucuses and primaries themselves are most often run not by the DNC but instead by each individual state. [Emphasis mine.] Primary elections, in particular, are invariably conducted by state governments according to their own laws. Political parties may choose to participate or not participate in a state's primary election, but no political party executives have any jurisdiction over the dates of primary elections, or how they are conducted."
