MM - his hand motions are distinctly his and he uses his hands that way all the time. There's nothing "limp wrist" or "gay slur" about the video.

Unfortunately we live in a Twitter world where any person can tweet their own personal opinion about something and those who want to believe will - and retweet it as if it's fact. I can bet most ppl haven't bothered to even watch the clip.

So thank you for watching. I wish all supporters of all candidates would actually research and watch and read ... not just headlines or tweets!

Based on the Twitter thread comments, I’m not the only one unable to see what isn’t there. To put it mildly, the “limp wrist” assertion requires an overwrought stretch of the imagination.

Mayor Pete is strong, impressive and engaging. He’s high on my gradually shortening list of favorite candidates. MM is, shall we say, messy and sometimes outrageous. Lately my feelings about him have been ambiguous. Nevertheless, I’ve been watching him for decades, and don’t believe for a minute that he’s an enemy of the LGBTQ community.

I do, however, have misgivings about @chrislongview and @SJGrunewald. One wonders about the purity of their intentions. Sowing division comes to mind.

Snip--"There is nowhere in the four Gospels where Jesus uses the word ‘homosexual.’ The right wing has appropriated this guy … and they have used him to attack gays and lesbians, when he never said a single word against people who are homosexual. Anyone who professes to be a Christian and does that is certainly not following the teachings of Jesus Christ.”

Moore, who told the magazine he is a spiritual person, said he supports same-sex marriage."

Snip--Moore said he is optimistic that gays and lesbians in the U.S. will have more equality soon “because everyone has someone who is gay or lesbian in their family or their extended family.”

The director of Fahrenheit 911 and Bowling for Columbine said he is proud to speak out in favour of gay rights.

“If you believe in equality, if you believe in standing up for the rights of all, especially for people most affected by bigotry and discrimination, then you have no choice but to be present and accounted for when it comes to standing up for gays and lesbians in our society.”

A couple of weeks back the twitterverse was going on& on about Biden being anti LGBTQ because of DOMA& DATA in the 90s. And wow, 3 days of us old dykes& gay men putting our lived history out there, that has disappeared.

Moore is a jerk, yeah; this one I'm not going with it.

YMMV

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
