NYT: Iowa Dem Party Won't Correct Errors

Iowa Democrats Won’t Correct Errors on Caucus Tally Sheets, Emails Show by Top Gabriel.

The worksheets could not be changed even if they contained mistakes, according to the lawyer for the state party, because they were a legal record and altering them would be a crime.

The stuff about it introducing ‘personal opinion’ to the process or the part on the form about it being a crime to misrepresent the results describe the initial process. Using them as an excuse for not fixing errors is insulting quite frankly.

This should be put in front of an Iowan judge as quickly as possible and correct delegate counts calculated ASAP.

What "math" is "the party" refusing to use?

"The worksheets could not be changed even if they contained mistakes, according to the lawyer for the state party, because they were a legal record and altering them would be a crime."

Do you think Democratic party of Iowa has something in particular against Sanders, because Sanders did worse there in 2020 than he did in 2016? And they won't commit a crime because Sanders is unhappy?

Why? They were implementing the changes he demanded.

So a "lack of transparency and accountability" is something that's a dealbreaker for you?

so the Iowa counting errors, which all seemed to go against Bernie, won't make the slightest bit of difference.

We The People will not be denied this time... it's Bernie's time to shine and light the way forward for Democrats and anyone else who wants to join The Revolution. Using an analogy from past Oldsmobile commercials, this ain't your grandfather's Democratic Party anymore.

It's 2020 and Bernie is leading us to a new dawn... it's a new, vibrant, energized Democratic Party that is bringing in new voters, disillusioned voters, voters who have felt like outsiders and uniting all of them with the Party stalwarts, who are ready to take back our country by STORM... and, more importantly, make it a country that looks out for it's most vulnerable, instead of corporate interests... a country for the working class and poor folks who are tired of always gettin shafted!!
