(43,134 posts)The recent attacks on Buttigieg may drive down his numbers just enough to ensure a Sanders victory. I so hope not, but that is just my gut feeling. The big race will be for 3rd, 4th, and 5th. the only one who can possibly survive a 5th place finish is Biden, Warren would more than likely be mortally wounded campaign wise. Klobuchar a little less, but her chances have always been the least of the top 6, when Bloomberg is included.
If he doesn't win SC, which is still a big if as he still has to be the big, big favourite there, Biden is more than likely done.
Only 4 campaigns have to be truly happy so far, (with Klobuchar as a possible lesser degree 5th, and Steyer a 6th, as he is shooting up in SC to a large degree)
Buttigieg
Sanders
Bloomberg
and of course
Trump
