Roland Martin: "Bill Clinton lost six in a row until winning South Carolina."

rolandsmartin ✔@rolandsmartin

Dear mainstream media, just STOP this nonsense! Look, I know y’all need to fill the 24-hour airwaves, but just ONE state has voted. And that was just 170,000 votes. We think. In 1992, @BillClinton did not win his first state until Georgia, the SIXTH one on the calendar. 1/3

Ibrahim @ibrahimpols

Apparently Bernie Sanders has “shown no ability to appeal to people of color” lol

Embedded video

Then @BillClinton lost six in a row until winning South Carolina. He was running in a six-man field. So can we PLEASE stop this insane analysis of the horse race and cut the crap with the stop @BernieSanders movement? VOTERS WILL DECIDE. In 1992 there was a Sanders-like guy. 2/3

His name was @JerryBrownGov. Brown, @BillClinton @JohnKerry Paul Tsongas and Tom Harmon all had to make their case. There were six different winners in the first six states. Clinton went on to win the nomination and was a 2-term president. Just let the VOTERS decide, media! 3/3

But we are pretty solid for Joe.

After all, he is the most qualified nationally and globally.

And trust me, GOP's will try and quash that from happening unless the 3rd party will hurt the Democrats.

Nevertheless, this illegal person in the WH is very unpopular and the only path to winning, is by cheating and stealing it, will be thru the EC, just like in 2016.

As mentioned on another thread, VP Biden still strikes fear in the Republican establishment.

That was Bill Clinton after losing NH by 8 points to Tsongas, and after having lost Iowa to Harkin by 75 points, Tsongas by 2, and "none of the above" by 9 (caucusing for uncommitted was much easier to do back then).

in 1992, frankly no one had heard of Bill Clinton. He wasn't a national figure until the campaign. It took time to gain name recognition.

Joe Biden's name recognition is basically 100%, and has been for years. It isn't going up.

primary today, I would vote for:
