Could be Jr. -> Ivanka -> .... -> .... -> Eric

or Ivanka -> Jr. -> .... -> .... -> Eric

(Ivanka really means Javanka)

Depends on which side of the bed he gets out of

For Democrats on the left Mayor Pete is the preferred center-lane candidate.

Keep in mind that Iowa is not a liberal state, but that Iowa Democrats tend to be very liberal. Also keep in mind that the caucus system attracts the most committed citizens because it takes a lot of energy and dedication to caucus. As such, we should see the Iowa results as a reflection of the more liberal wing of the Democratic Party. Iowa caucuses do not, in any way, reflect the majority or the "center" of the Democratic Party.

For its part, Democratic Underground is quite liberal compared to the party as a whole, so it should not surprise us to find that DU's liberals like Mayor Pete (as our preferred center-lane candidate). Once the less-liberal people in the party get a vote in the primaries, a different center-lane candidate may take the lead. I see Mayor Pete as the left's preferred center-laner.

no candidate reaching the requisite 1990+ delegates to clinch the nomination? That is a real possibility that no one is really talking about.

A brokered convention is gonna get real nasty.

In 2016, the majority had declared by now. This year, according to the Wiki, there are still 573 who haven't declared. I'm hoping this is indicative of them watching to see who the voter's primary choice is and supporting that candidate. I would hate to see someone in third or fourth place get the nomination solely on the decision of party insiders.
