God our "media coverage" sucks

Reminds me of emails, emails, emails and nothing about bankruptcies, laundering, fraud, and other crimes.

Something doesn't smell right.

Big mistake.
Everyone is waiting for someone to show superpowers, but come-on people--our candidates are just plain old humans.
Sadly, some are projecting superpowers on some candidates.

IF we can overcome the rat-fucking by DT and his party of cheaters and foreign hackers we should concentrate on overturning Citizens United and return to publicly-funded elections. We should also end our reality show election process and begin to reclaim some dignity in the election process. Enough of this endless fund raising.

As soon as a winner is declared in Nov, the cable news networks will pivot immediately to the 2024 election. We really need a law like in France that prohibits electioneering until just a few months before the election.

Almost every question at the debate was either a trap or an effort to fan the flames of controversy by pitting the candidates against each other.

For-profit media criteria is click-bait, not the merit of a candidate's record, ideas, and qualifications.

They have to fill the airtime with something. When there's no news, we get horserace. It's somewhat frustrating, I admit, but it is what it is.

What have the talking heads actually told us about any of these candidates? I say very little. Not to put Klobachar down, but do the voters in NH actually know where she stands on the issues? She a great debate performance and the media ran with that.
What do we really know about Sanders or Buttieg?
The only candidate they report on is Biden, and it is always mostly negative.
I am sick of them all. I have cancelled my subscription to the Washington Post and the NY Times. And, I have sworn off of MSNBC, CNN is on it way out with me too.
Local News is the only fair and balance news reporting left.

The media wouldn't be doing its job without focus on the horse race aspect.

Ideally we would have had a 2 or 3 person field. That would have meant a dominant candidate.

Depth means nothing. Give me that super horse above anything and everything related to depth.
