Klobuchar roars into contention on eve of primary

Politico

EXETER, New Hampshire — It’s become a familiar ritual for Amy Klobuchar — an impressive debate followed by a rush of fundraising and national media attention, then nothing.

The political establishment swoons. America passes her by.

But whether it’s because the election is in full swing now or because two other candidates — Joe Biden and Elizabeth Warren — appear to be fading, Klobuchar is gaining traction in New Hampshire.

Fire officials at least twice on Sunday and Monday barred doors to Klobuchar’s rallies after crowds swelled to capacity. A Boston Globe/WBZ-TV/Suffolk University poll put her in third place in the state, ahead of both Biden and Elizabeth Warren, and an expanding pool of TV cameras circled her campaign.

Hours after the Boston Globe poll’s release, Klobuchar said to cheers at a rally in Keene that “we are now No. 3.”
If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

I’m sure she will be happy to discuss that resume any time with Pete or anyone else.

If you look at how she ran her campaign during the summer she picked off her direct challengers first. She went after the candidates closest to her. Inslee and "three women on the stage" is just one of the ones she did that sticks way out.

She didn't wait around for others to do it. That is actually a big point in her favor.

And she got dumped on heavy before she could establish a national identity. How many mean boss stories were out at the beginning. But how many mean staff stories have we heard since? Does anyone think the media isn't waiting for a campaign staff story to jump on? But the staff stories are coming out for all the other candidates from Pete to Liz.

Also don't think that challenge will hurt her as Pete learned with his Gay guy come back.

I still like Elizabeth, but she, Klobuchar, and Buttigieg are pretty much in a tie for me. Bloomberg is creeping up too.

Early voting starts in my state this week, and all I’m sure about at this point is who I won’t vote for.

Yes the split field helps Sanders right now (and Bloomberg), but whoever comes out on top after Super Tuesday (out of Biden, Buttigieg, Warren and Klobuchar) will have been thoroughly vetted and have proven their mettle.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
