Just hours to go, New Hampshire primary voters still can't make up their minds

LEBANON, N.H. — They’ve been pummeled by millions of dollars in TV ads, had repeated chances to see the major candidates up close, sometimes in neighbors’ living rooms, and they’ve watched debates play out on television. Now, they’re about to cast ballots — but for whom?

“I don’t know yet,” said Sarah Glass, a high school teacher from Hanover, N.H. “I’m super-undecided.”

Standing a few feet away, in a Lebanon high school gymnasium where Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., was due to speak, Doreen Somers of Grantham acknowledged similar indecision.

“It’s tough. It’s exciting. But it’s tough.”

Half the voters making up their minds at the last moment.

It can throw wrenches into campaigns.

view of candidates’ relative strengths on a more global basis. We cooperate with media in this. Now the perception that Bloomberg will save us grows, when he is not necessarily the best candidate or most qualified to run our country.

The candidates did not change overnight. Neither of these states should have altered the course of their campaigns.

D.C. would be the ideal first in the nation, IMO. Put all the candidates at the center of it all, then move out from there.

Let D.C. itself start the winnowing process.

caucus along with 54 more states on one date, we’d have a nominee. It would be Biden.

Iowa has had a distorting effect on the entire race, now determining the trajectory of campaigns— Biden is tarnished with the loser label, Buttigieg elevated way beyond his punching weight, Bernie given a momentum he will never see again if he gets to the GE, overcoming Warren who’d have a better GE chance, and a billionaire seen as a potential savior, his stock rising because Biden’s stock plummeted overnight.

MSM is dancing a jig along with Trump.

Way too expensive to run a primary like a GE. Bloomberg would win this one hands down and only those willing to shell out $1 billion or are capable of raising it in a primary time frame (fat chance) can win.

For example, if it was an all in one single day primary, Obama would have never stood a chance in 2008.

The thing is, that current system is a perfect example of systemic racism due to the lack of diversity in those first two states.

That's the piece that needs to be corrected.

That's why I say, take the patriotic stance and let DC decide first, then move on to another small state.

I didn't think they would this cycle, but something has clearly changed.

Sanders' disingenuous claim that he "won" Iowa seems to have generated some momentum. Funny that Pete's actual win doesn't appear to have had as much impact, though it has generated a bump, it seems.

have given premature victory speeches. But then Iowa and N.H. should not have gone first.

Cascading series of fateful events like a cytokine storm is at work. All due to our process, which I think is a terribly flawed one. And premature panic.

Bloomberg should not have been able to run.

Post Iowa pre-debate Bernie stayed flat and Pete had a 12 point bump in NH.
Post Debate Bernie had a slight bump, Pete a bit of a backtrack and Klobuchar something in the order of a 6-8 point surge.

I'm looking at NH averages. Big bump for Sanders the past two days and up five points in four days, with Biden down about six points in the past five days. And, yes, about a four-point bump (average) for Amy.

It certainly seems attributable to post-Iowa, but they're also only averaging the three most-current polls. If one is an outlier, the average would be skewed a bit. Pretty much impossible to tell.
