Money can buy political positions. Bloomberg can buy his way into this race and Biden is unlikely to be able to stop it.

My guess is it will be a Bernie/Bloomberg matchup for whether the rich centrist or the left-wing pro-worker candidate will win.

African American voters as a group are the most astute voting block on America. They can smell bullshit from a mile away, and they take realistic voting stances at crunchtime. So if Bloomberg is the only person that looks certain to beat Trump, that is what African Americans see, they don't have no history of throwing on rose-colored bullshit glasses in any critical situation.

money, but strength of ballot to beat Trump. The AA community is responding to the need for a strong candidate to restore equality and justice as measures of safety. They are placing their money on a candidate to deliver such protection to POC. It is a bargain to stave off supremacists. Sanders is not that candidate and has his own issues around understanding racism. He is a weak candidate. Mouthing the right words doesn't mean you get it. A Bloomberg/Sanders ticket will only work if Bloomberg heads it.

Doesn't make sense. Biden's worst sin was calling Obama articulate and speaking to segregationists. And the concept that the person who has the most money always wins is tenuous.

I believe that African Americans see that. If Joe struggles into Super Tuesday, I don't see AA supporting him over Bloomberg, they want Trump out of office and will go with the person they believe can defeat him. If is just as simple as that.

and you only have to watch CNN for a few minutes to hear that Joe is also tanking in New Hampshire. That's why these early contests are so important. it's all about perception. And the prevailing perception right now is that Joe is slipping.
