Democratic Primaries
Related: About this forumI'm a go on Joe!
I think he will make an excellent president and appeal to that mushy middle I happen to be part of. My father who was a Trump supported and republican since Nixon said he would strongly consider Biden.

(29,949 posts)The way Goops act, they must think he can win. The worst they have on Joe is he hugs women in public with cameras rolling.
Anyway, we have two more Bidens posted.
No one replaces Obama. Never will.

(1,201 posts)Do you have any idea what he stands for or what his policy ideas are? I believe in principles before personalities. I see many who claim they want to vote for a candidate because he seems like a good guy.
Also I don't think in terms of "middle". Either you are for the democratic platform or you're not. After reading all the policy polls I see how more unites us than divides us. If by "cushy middle" you mean let's not be bold or rush things then say goodbye to the planet, to uniting the nation by going to renewable energy and rebuilding our infrastructure thereby creating jobs. Immigration needs bold immediate action as does health care because it causes death and suffering without bold immediate action. Few of our candidates have been fighting for this their entire careers but most recognize the need and some propose immediate action. All on board

(42,466 posts)I haven't decided yet but I'm leaning for Biden. I've promised to listen to every candidate before I make a decision, and it's still early yet. We need to carefully choose our candidate, because it has to be a person who appeals to the party faithful AND the independents and crossovers. There's enough Chump-hatred out there that the right Democratic candidate will really make a difference.
Most of all, we need to Get Out The Vote next year!

(9,870 posts)......did is not that its sexualrather, its that it wreaks of male privilege.
No woman would have touched him in these ways. No secretary blows on and kisses her bosss hair.
By dominating the space of the women he knows, or on his staff, in these maleonly ways, it operates as a kind of micro-aggression.
This does not rise to the level of sexual harassmentbut the exercise of unconscious privilege, repeatedly, over many years, in a grown man, is never attractive.
