Charisma! That is what is missing from our candidates. Sorry! Where is our Obama? Unfortunately

running for office is a package deal to the public. Sadly, savvy, charisma, boldness, boundary pushing matter! All of our candidates have some but none have it all without some hindrances!

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

... among several of our candidates. I think Bernie and Pete have it... I think Elizabeth has some... more at rallies than on camera. Sometimes the setting is important. Of course, Crooked Donald has it - negative charisma. Kamala had it early on, but the spark didn't grow, or faded, for some reason. I thought Beto, Booker and Castro had Obama-like potential. I especially liked when Castro said it's time to say, "Adios, Donald!" I thought that could be the campaign slogan for the year! But, when you have Trump, it's hard to decide... maybe someone with little charisma, or small amounts... most people are tired of Trump's being so prominent.

We choose a leader, not a savior.

The primary election process is riddled with flaws, but it's all we have. We are in the process of choosing delegates who will represent their candidate at the Convention. That's the process.

Even choosing a candidate with your chosen recipe for charisma won't guarantee success when the GOP is eliminating hundreds of thousands of voters from the roles as you read this. Review Thom Hartmann's show from yesterday, when he had Greg Palast on air. Palast just won an important Court battle to get the Georgia Governor Kemp's files opened to show how Kemp cheated in the last election. Kemp stripped voting rights from over 300,000 in Georgia by using Kobach's election fraud scheme.

Bill Clinton, Ronald Reagan, that's pretty much it for the last 50 years.

I am referring to the kind of charisma that crosses cultural, racial, and party lines. The kind of person who is actually comfortable in their skin.

Before Reagan, you have to go back to FDR (although how well FDR would play today, being a 1 per center, a philanderer, about as racist as was normal for an upper class white man of that time and wheelchair bound is arguable, as regards electability), and arguably Teddy Roosevelt.
