Democratic Primaries
Related: About this forumWhere does Elizabeth Warren go from here?
Polling indicates she's below the threshold for delegates, despite her historical presence via Boston TV. She's also underperforming in NV and SC (she's getting 8% of the African American vote) She may be able to hold out until Super Tuesday and do well in MA, but that's essentially a favorite son win, and she'll be running into Michael Bloomberg. And nobody's reporting is suggesting that she's on an upward trajectory like Klobuchar is.

(39,369 posts)Where does Pete go from here now that hes leaving the cozy confines of states that dont care about his mayoral record and Klobuchar is taking votes from him?

(9,951 posts)... is strong - not a distant third - I think she stays. Elizabeth's been counted out, before, and come back... I was surprised the dispute with Bernie over a female President helped him more than her... but that's the way it goes. I also think Bernie benefits if she bows out... then, he would benefit by having three or four candidates stay in - and split the "center-left" vote.

(34,169 posts)People dismiss Bernies support in NH as merely hometown favor but there is no affinity between NH and VT politics.
Hardly anyone mentions that Warren should have as much of a border state effect as Bernie.

(4,558 posts)I'd be very surprised myself if she ends up backing him. Him accusing her of being a liar during the debate alone probably killed it.
