that's almost the same thing. Legislation is a numbers game. The first two years matter. The big tent is about putting together a durable coalition - one that survives the inevitable disappointment that governing will bring.

that's the line that struck with me. With Pete, if you know his stump speech and standard interview spiel, the beauty is seeing him getting in as many of his bullet points as possible while actually answering the question.

Nobody can tell me he wouldn't be ready day one if he'd won. The guy is intelligent and well-spoken.

My mom was pro-life all the way, but she never felt like the government had a right to dictate that to women.
