Henry Louis Gates Jr. On Mike Bloomberg

"But, I mean, I’m going to vote for whatever Democrat emerges. I want to say this right, because I haven’t said this to anybody: Among all the candidates, the person who I believe could stand toe-to-toe, strongest and longest with Donald Trump is Mike Bloomberg."

Bloomberg is the best option, especially if he selects a person of color or a female as his running mate.

Michelle (no doubt) has had more than enough of the White House, but so much of IQ45's presidency has been about earning the Obama legacy, she might just go for it. 2024 is a twofer - first black woman president.

He didn't weigh in on anything related to social justice. His comment was purely, "Of all the candidates, I think Bloomberg is best equipped to slug it out with Trump." That speaks more to how Bloomberg would handle Trump's lies, slanders, and bullying than anything about the issues.

Remember how Trump hovered behind Hillary at the debate? He deliberately put himself in her space as a power move. That's just who he is and what he does. Gates believes Bloomberg is a better counter-puncher, that's all. And given Bloomberg's go-for-the-jugular ads against Trump, it's hard to disagree with Gates' assessment.

In any political race, there'll be a fair bit of mudslinging and more than a few negative ads. Trump takes it all to the lowest level it can go, just like everything else with him. He doesn't sling mud, he slings shit. His ads aren't just negative, they're riddled with bullshit. Trump also has a tremendous war chest, which is another consideration.

Bloomberg has largely already taken the fight to Dolt 45, and can match him dollar-for-dollar in campaign spending, all without a penny from a donor. That sort of ability is not to be despised. Is he my preferred candidate? Nope. Is this a normal election cycle? Also nope.

None of the suspects' DNA matched the DNA collected from the crime scene (two semen samples that both belonged to one unidentified man)
No substantive physical evidence connected any of the five teenagers to the crime and years later a person serving a life sentence for rape matched the DNA and confessed he did it alone was my understanding . The biggest evidence was forced confessions
Saying well if the courts ruled that way we have to accept it ?
And go read about it yourself is not a good answer imo
