What do Bloomberg's coat tails in the Senate look like? GOP majority?

This really troubles me. From many reports, there are reasonable Republican Senators - okay that may be an oxymoron - but, in the eyes of reasonable Republicans, they are secretly embarrassed by Trump. never mind the spineless thing.
My big fear is they will have no reason to change their senate vote under Bloomberg. They know they work together.
Granted, I don't think Bloomberg would put forward the same kind of dross for court seats that Trump has, but would he put forward progressive agendas that would be unlikely with a Republican led Senate?

Thoughts?

I also think Bloomberg won't inspire a big turnout among the Democratic base.

I think Bernie would get a big turnout, but I'm not sure many of his supporters who wouldn't otherwise vote (or wouldn't vote Democrat for president) will vote Democratic down ballot.

Or they will vote Democrat if the Democrat is a progressive like AOC, but they won't vote for more moderate Democrats in swing states. Because the people I am talking about are people who didn't vote for Hillary in 2016 (and probably didn't vote for Obama in 2012) but would have voted for Bernie in 2016 and would vote for him now. And it's good that there are people willing to vote for him who have not always voted for other Democrats, but that doesn't mean they will vote straight ticket Dem down the ballot.

I'd been assuming it would work to our benefit in AZ. But it could work just the opposite. People, I've been told, used to split their tickets, thinking, "Well, I'm voting Dem for president so I'll vote republican for senator..." (IDIOTS!) But Bloomberg is likely to bring out more conservative voters who might still think like that.

However, Trump would not get any judges (neither would we of course), we would get rid of Barr and control Justice, no more EO's from Trump, Investigations in the house and at Justice of Trump would be possible...I would bet that Bloomberg would rescind all of Dump's EO's including the hidious Climate ones, on day one, Dreamers would not be deported, kids would not be caged and Bloomberg could use EO's for student debt relief, guns, healthcare, climate etc...there is an upside to any candidate defeating Trump. 'The hubris is unbelievable': Dems seethe over Bloomberg GOP donations

Good luck explaining the Scott Brown endorsement against Elizabeth Warren.

The billionaire businessman, who has switched parties several times throughout his political career, endorsed George W. Bush’s 2004 reelection campaign, contributed to John McCain and even held a fundraiser for a House GOP member as recently as last year.

And that’s not all. Beneficiaries of his largesse include former Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah), a vigorous Trump defender, and Senate Appropriations Chairman Richard Shelby of Alabama, who once chaired the Senate Banking Committee.

snip
Then there’s former Sen. Scott Brown (R-Mass.). Bloomberg endorsed and held a fundraiser for Brown when he ran against Elizabeth Warren in 2012.
snip
Bloomberg has contributed to Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine), and Independence USA, a super PAC he funded, spent money to elect Republicans such as Sen. Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania, 2012 House candidate Andrew Roraback in Connecticut, and former Reps. Mike Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania and Bob Dold of Illinois.
