on the ballots to prevent bias because someone is too "busy" to read the entire list

This procedure was established by legislation passed in 1975 in response to court rulings declaring that standard alphabetical order or incumbent-first was unconstitutional.

and we seem to get by OK. And the actual ballot will be the same as the sample one sent to all voters so there's no excuse for not knowing who's where.

according to what Maddow showed last night. He's on the Democratic ballot in CA, and I think on the Libertarian one as well. He may well break 100 this year
