Biden has already said he will go after Bloomberg on stop and frisk.

Bernie and Warren will hit him on billionaires.

Amy is going to watch, and wait. There is absolutely no need for her to lead the charge.

Now, if he says something dumb, and Amy sees an opportunity, she will strike then.

In fact, we had this discussion with dozens today at a luncheon. Beating Trump is focus. Period. You would be surprised how little people focus on old statements, ect. All of our candidates has had to deal with issues involving past it more recent statements. Go ahead, it won't work

39 and under are a lot more susceptible to the influence of fake liberal/ "woke" trolls on social media.

Gen X and older are more pragmatic and cynical. Like you said, the focus is removing trump. Period.

I tend to think we need ALL factions on board, however.

as President it would deter me from supporting him (still considering it), but I don't think that's the case. I think he's learned it was wrong. I'm white, though, so I'm aware that my opinion should perhaps be weighted less in regard to this matter.

4. bloomberg's statement doesn't disagree with this
Tue Feb 11, 2020, 04:39 PM
Feb 2020

obviously bloomberg's trying to distance himself from this

"in an effort to stop gun violence, it was overused" this is essentially acknowledging that he increased it, but he puts it in the passive voice to try to distance himself from the policy, and tries to shift the focus to the anti-gun violence aspect instead of the racial mistreatment aspect.

"i cut it back by 95%" again, doesn't get into why or whether the cutback was so dramatic only because he had increased it so much.

so, bloomberg's not saying anything incorrect here, he's just not coming out and saying yeah, i pushed a bad policy. not that any politician would....
