Bill Maher has been making a weird but potentially effective argument for Bernie

For the past 2 weeks, Bill Maher has been saying that Bernie Sanders is the only Democratic candidate who controls an army / "angry mob" who will take to the streets if trump & the GOP attempt to cheat and/or nullify the elections this fall.

This argument might appeal to people who share Maher's concerns about trump cheating or refusing to leave office.

I'd like to think that all of us would take to the streets if it came to it. At least, I hope so!

And that's hugely important in today's climate.

Bloomberg, on the other hand, would alienate much of the base, especially youth. He'd be an absolute disaster and guarantee Trump 4 more years.

Yeah, that runs counter to what some will argue is conventional wisdom. I think those people are wrong, dangerously wrong.

They can't even say the word "democratic" any more.
They call the Democratic Party the "democrat party."
Go online to any forum and declare that America is a democracy.
You will be bombarded with posts from right-wingers correcting you, that America is not a democracy, it is a republic.
They don't believe in democracy, they believe in winning.
Democracy is for losers and socialists.
